On 3 October 2024, aged 82, Bob’s long decline through Alzheimer’s Dementia was ended by a second bout of pneumonia. Before all of his unique self was lost, he died in Grange Hall Care Home and is now at peace.
The loss of this much loved and kind man is mourned by his wife Heather, daughters Sarah and Helen and an extended family of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, in-laws, relatives and friends.
Bob’s funeral is on Monday 21 October 2024 at 2pm at Borders Crematorium and all who valued and cared for Bob are invited. We will then regather at The Station House, Stow TD1 2SQ around 3.45pm to share further memories and continue to celebrate his life. Anyone who is not able to attend the crematorium but would like to join us in Stow is welcome. Bob’s ashes will be scattered in Pwll Du Bay, Gower at a later date.
